Contains: Ginger Root, Chamomile, Plantain Leaf, Dried Lemon Slices, Fennel Seed, Yarrow, and Marshmallow Root.
This Digestive Aid Blend has a balance of gentle yet invigorating herbs — inviting the body to move from tension to flow. It spurs on sluggish digestion, soothes nausea, and calms inflammation, offering space to ground ourselves and find more ease as we navigate life in bodies that don’t always work well.
Ginger Root promotes warmth, circulation, and energetic movement, and the acidity from the lemon slices encourages the stomach to empty. This partners with the astringency of Yarrow to form a powerful triad to stimulate gut motility. Although the flavor is not pronounced in this blend, Fennel Seed collaborates with Plantain to ease bloating and gas, and both plant allies introduce an array of VOC’s, minerals, and antioxidants to our cups. Chamomile is a nervine that can help ease abdominal pain and cramping, and Marshmallow Root rounds out the group with it’s protective mucilage and help to ease inflammation in the digestive system.
This blend offers restoration and renewal, especially for those of us with nausea, lack of appetite, or bloating and abdominal pain after eating. It can support us through acknowledging that there is hardly ever a cure-all, and encourage us as we find smaller but impactful ways to tend to our bodies. A wonderful aid for when we are feeling anxious, sluggish, or fenced in by our limitations.
Flavor Notes: Bright citrus and spice with mellow floral and herbal undertones.
Energetics: Warming · Grounding · Harmonizing
