Contraindications – Conditions / Symptoms:

  • Avoid if you are allergic to plants in the Asteraceae family (e.g., ragweed, daisies, marigolds) and use caution if you have asthma

  • Use caution if you have liver or kidney conditions, persistent iron deficiency, if you have concerns about obstructions in the bile duct, ileocecal valve, or intestines. Or if you have conditions impacting the stomach or bowels, like ulcers, gastritis, or GERD

  • Minimize consumption 1–2 weeks before surgery to reduce the risk of bleeding, bruising, or interactions with anesthesia

  • Tinctures and concentrated botanicals are not recommended during pregnancy but including Calendula, Chamomile, or Dandelion Tea is generally safe with minimal use
